4. Practical & Beautiful Design = Ideal Design

If it works well and it's also beautiful, it's ideal.  Practical design takes into account the people using a space, how the space will be used and the purpose of each task that takes place in that space.  Beautiful design takes into account the colors, textures and moods that are pleasing to the people that will reside there.  Designs that are practical but not beautiful, or beautiful but not practical are simply half of the magic!
